Information Collection and Usage
Pickednames is a read-only listing service. We do not have user accounts, sign-up forms, or any mechanism to collect personal information from visitors.
We may use standard server logs which capture IP addresses and request timestamps. These logs are used solely for debugging and security purposes and are not analyzed for marketing or user tracking.
If we add analytics in the future (such as Google Analytics or a privacy-respecting alternative), we will update this policy and disclose exactly what is collected before implementing it.
Affiliate Links
Pickednames displays "Register →" links to third-party domain registrars. These may be affiliate links, meaning we earn a small commission if you register a domain through them at no additional cost to you. The registrar you click through to will have their own privacy policy governing data collected during registration. We are not involved in that transaction and do not receive any personal data from it.
Third-Party Services
Our pipeline uses third-party data sources to build domain listings. None of these services receive any visitor data from your use of their website
All of these integrations are server-to-server. Your browser does not contact any of these services when you view our listings.
Cookies
Pickednames does not set any cookies. No tracking cookies, no session cookies, no preference cookies. Your browser state is not stored or transmitted to us.
Data Retention
Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to retain. Server access logs, if kept, are rotated automatically and not stored longer than 30 days. Domain listing data is public information derived from public registry sources and is refreshed daily.
Data Security
Our servers are protected with standard security practices. Because we do not store personal data, the risk of a meaningful data breach affecting visitors is minimal. Domain listing data is public by nature.
Your Rights
Since we do not collect personal data from visitors, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you have emailed us and wish for that correspondence to be deleted, contact us at hello@pickednames.com and we will remove it.
Age Restrictions
Pickednames is a general information service with no age-restricted content. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Policy Updates
If we materially change this privacy policy — for example by adding analytics or user accounts — we will update this page and note the date of the change. The current policy has been in effect since July 2026.
